how can I report unethical businesses by privacy matters 123 to yahoo?

crbillyxrez asked:

I tried their “free” credit report, and then was charged a dollar, and never did receive a report. Then I was charged $29.95 for a service I never signed up for, and when I called them, they said I had to call within 7 days to cancel from the time they charged my acct. I didn’t get my bank statement until after 9 days. To me this is a very big scam and I’m sure that I am not the first or last person that this has happened to. I hope you can contact them about this, and I am contacting the Better Business Bureau in Denver also. Thank You Bill Pearson

How can I get my credit score without paying?

Ryan asked:

I’m looking to get my credit -score-, not credit report (I already know the 3 bureaus have to give you a report once a year), but I don’t want to sign up for one of those 30-day free trials that are all over the internet and have telemarketers calling me and hassling me when I try to cancel. Anyone have suggestions how to get the number itself without paying or signing up for anything?

Charged for free cellphones if you terminate contract early?

sberti20 asked:

Charged for free cellphones if you terminate contract early?
Long story short. I canceled my family plan that had three lines on it. i paid the cancelation fee for each phone. i checked my credit report a year later and there are three collections for $100 each. they are all from the same company. i call up the company because my report is squeaky clean except for these three things i have no idea are about. the company tells me the charges are for the free phones i got with my contract. they said they supply the phones and if i cancel my contract early they dont get paid the full amount for the phones so i need to pay them. i talk to at&t and they say thats not correct because the cancelation fees cover everything. i call the collectors back and they say sorry you have to pay it. i try to dispute it with the credit bureaus. they tell me i do owe it.
i have tried googling this and talking to people but it seems to be one of those things that keeps me going in circles and wanting to pull out my hair. I want to buy a house and need to get this off my report. any help?

Risk free?

babysteaks3 asked:

I have already used up my free annual credit reports from all three credit bureaus. I want to purchase one but it seems like you have to do month to month and then cancel “risk free” and they won’t bill you. Has anyone done this and if so is it a pain in the butt to cancel the “subscription”?
